Grüsse aus den Bergen / Greetings from the mountains

Am Freitag haben wir alle unsere Hunde und Equipment ins Auto gepackt und sind der Einladung vom Saltdalen Trekkhundklub gefolgt und in die Berge nach Sandviken gefahren. Danke Berit das Du uns gefragt hast ob wir Überholen anderer Teams mit unsere Junghunden üben wollen ;)) Als wir gestern ankamen hat es geblasen wie sonst noch was, es war fast nicht möglich den Stake-out raus zu holen. Heute war das Wetter ein bischen besser. Wir sind 70 km zusammen mit einem anderen Musher rausgefahren und haben Überholen geübt. Und es hat funktioniert! Unsere Leithunde waren so freundlich und haben einen super Job gemacht. Auf dem Weg zurück war es sehr windig, es war also ein perfektes Training, andere Teams überholen und Wind. Unseren Hunden hat das alles nichts ausgemacht. Morgen wollen wir wohl auch nochmals 70 km fahren, sind aber noch nicht ganz sicher wie lang es werden wird. Ihr werdet es hier erfahren, also bleibt dran ;)) Danke an den Campingplatz in Sandviken für die freundliche Aufnahme von uns Mushern und den perfekten Service!

At friday we took all our dogs and the equimpent into the car and followed the inviting from the Saltdalen Trekkhundklub and drove into the mountains to Sandviken. Thank you Berit that you ask us if we want to train passing other teams with our young dogs ;)) Yesterday when we arrived it was blowing like hell that the stake-out was nearly not possible to set. Today it was more friendly weather. We went out for 70 km with one other musher and we trained passing. And it was working! Our leaddogs were so kind and did a really good job. On the way back it was also blowing a lot, so it was perfect training today, passing other team and very windy. Our dogs were not impressed at all. Tomorrow we will drive also about 70 km, but we are not sure yet how long it will be in the end. Fällt Euch was auf? Kein Team mehr vor mir, ich habe also überholt und es hat ohne Probleme funktioniert ;))))) / What catches your eyes? No team in front of me, so I was passing and that without any problems ;)))))

Danach war ich noch mit den Welpen und Susan auf einer kleinen Runde / After that I was a small round out with the puppies and Susan

Sie fanden es Klasse, wurde auch alles vom anderen Haushund Kuchen kontrolliert ;)) / They thought it was great, everything was controlled by our other housedog Kuchen ;))
